Bloodstock Festival 2019 Show Diary
It was an early start for us, pulling the bus up behind the main stage just before 8am. The Bloodstock crew and staff were fantastic, making sure everything was just right. There’s so much more to running an event as successful as Bloodstock than meets the eye, and the team they’ve assembled are one of the best we’ve worked with.
Fast forward a few hours, and we were stood behind the curtain ready to make our entrance. The reception was fantastic and to see the sheer number of people was just awesome. It was definitely one of the most enjoyable shows we’ve played, despite the winds getting pretty brutal at times, but nothing was going to damped the feeling of opening that main stage. The set literally flew by and we would have loved to carry on playing. Luckily we still had time to grab a photo just before we left the stage.
Load out complete, we headed to the signing tent and it was soon apparent from the numbers of the limited edition CDs that we were signing that we’d sold out at the merch stand. Again, an awesome feeling and thank you to everyone who bought a copy, we can’t do it without your support.
The rest of the day was taken with press and interviews, before we could head out into the arena, watch some other bands, and soak up the atmosphere. All in all, a special day, and thank you to everyone who was a part of it! \m/
